Hailing originally from the hinterlands of Arizona, Dave arrived in Austin, Texas nearly 20 years ago and has called Austin home ever since. His sonorous voice, unique way of telling a story, and intimate, personal style have made him a favorite with fans. His band includes Danny B. Harvey, Bobby Snell, Daniel Jones and Vance Hazen. Courtney has really delivered a gem in this record. This collection of songs feels tight and cohesive. Highlights for me are "How Quickly Your Heart Mends" and "Table For One". What has always struck me about Courtney's music is that the melodies sound like the lyrics feel; from the arrangements to the delivery, you won't be disappointed!
